OUR UNION
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 252
Has been serving all of Washtenaw and Jackson Counties and parts of Ingham and Livingston Counties in south-central Michigan since 1916. Business offices for Local 252 are maintained in Ann Arbor and Jackson. Local 252 electricians, voice/data/video workers and affiliated National Electrical Contractors Association electrical contractors continue to provide superior electrical service to our neighbors and area businesses, organizations and schools. Local 252 currently has more than 800 members and is continuing to grow. Through our work, we're proud to be helping to build a brighter Michigan.

The business office for IBEW Local 252 is located between Ann Arbor and Chelsea in southeast Michigan. Exit off I-94 at Baker Rd. (Exit 167) and continue south on Baker Rd. to Jackson Rd. Turn west on Jackson Rd. and travel approximately 500 yards to the hall on your right.

A State of Michigan Electrical License is required for all electrical work. The majority of calls in this area are for licensed journeymen, and Travelers seeking employment in Local 252 jurisdiction areas should obtain a Michigan Journeyman Electrical License. Travelers seeking employment should complete the ERTS registration in their home local.
