JIW Work Calls for 4/29/2026

Motor City Electric has a 2 day call for 2 JIWs reporting to the Barn data center. This call requires a current must drug test within 90 days, a Michigan electrical license, is non smoking, and you must have up to date Raychem/TE certification in splicing/terminations for 15KV-35KV. Certification for terminations must be for standard stress cone terminations as well as load break/ dead break terminations.

Hatzel Buehler has a short call for 6 JIWs reporting to U of M Student Housing on April 30th, and 6 JIWs reporting to U of M Student Housing May 1st, all working 5/12s and 2/8s. These calls require a current must drug test, a Michigan electrical license, and are non smoking.

Superior Electric Tri County has an indefinite call for 1 JIW reporting to 701 Church St. This is a 6 a.m. start and requires a current must drug test, a Michigan electrical license, and is non smoking.

UIS has an indefinite call for 1 Test Technician. NETA 2 or 2 years testing experience and relay experience preferred. This call requires a background check and current must drug test. 

UIS has an indefinite call for 1 SCADA Technician. Motor controls and PLC experience preferred. This call requires a background check and current must drug test. 

UIS has an indefinite call for 1 Instrumentation Technician. EPRI A & B are preferred. This call requires a background check and current must drug test.
