JIW Work Calls for 9/24/2026

Effective immediately, our referral procedure has changed to an in person day book. You must be physically present at the union hall between 8 am and 8:30 am to sign in for the day book. Dispatch will begin at 8:30 am.

Superior Electric Tri County has an indefinite call for 4 JIWs reporting to Wyly Hall working 5/10s and an 8. This is a 6 a.m. start.

Superior Electric Tri County has an indefinite call for 1 JIW reporting to Logan Elementary. This is a 6 a.m. start and requires a background check.

These calls require a current must drug test, a Michigan electrical license, and are non smoking.

De Cal has an indefinite call for 1 JIW reporting to the Barn Data Center working 6/10s. This is a 6:30 am start. 

Superior Electric Tri County has an indefinite call for 15 JIWs reporting to the Barn Data Center working 6/10s. This is a 6 am start.

All JIW Barn Data Center calls require a Michigan electrical license or a State of Michigan apprentice registration and have a drug test current within 90 days.

For all of these calls, you must be present at the union hall between 8 am and 8:30 am to sign in for the day book. Dispatch will begin at 8:30 am.

Potential has an indefinite call for 1 JIW working in the service truck. This call requires a Michigan electrical license and is non smoking.

UIS has an indefinite call for 1 Test Technician. NETA 2 or 2 years testing experience and relay experience preferred. This call requires a background check and current must drug test. 

UIS has an indefinite call for 1 SCADA Technician. Motor controls and PLC experience preferred. This call requires a background check and current must drug test. 

UIS has an indefinite call for 1 Instrumentation Technician. EPRI A & B are preferred. This call requires a background check and current must drug test.

Residential Work Calls for 9/24/2026

Ashcott has an indefinite call for 3 RW reporting to Ann Arbor High Rises. This call requires a current must drug test and is a 6 am start.

Current has an  indefinite call for 1 RW working in Ann Arbor. This call requires a current must drug test.

If you are interested, you must be present at the union hall between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Monday morning to sign in for the daybook.

Haley Mechanical has indefinite call for 2 JRWs working in the service truck.  This call  requires a Michigan electrical license.
